Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu
Arrive at Kathmandu airport and a company representative from Comfort will be there to receive you and will assist you with hotel transfer.
Enjoy the hospitality of the hotel with dinner served, spent a night here at the hotel. 1400 meters,

Day 2: Local city Excursion, Kathmandu sightseeing
We will start our day early around 7 am and by 8 am we leave the hotel to discover the beautiful city of Kathmandu who is known for its world famous temples and religious pursuits. We will cover Pashupatinath and Budhanilkantha temples known for Lord Shiva and Vishnu respectively
a) Pashupatinath-One of 12 jyotirlinga temples, build for lord “Pashupatinath” recognized by UNESCO as world heritage site situated on the banks of the river –Bagmati at the north east of Nepal.
b) Budhanilkantha:- dedicated to Lord Vishnu – a floating statue of Lord Vishnu is fascinating and above all scientific explanations and understanding, it is a legend in itself a must-see phenomenon.
Return to hotel post the temple tour and sightseeing, in the evening our company representative will introduce you to fellow tour pilgrims for Kailash.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Lhasa flight, duration 1 .5 hrs, 3650 meters
Post early morning breakfast at the hotel, we will leave to board a flight from Tribhuvan International airport, KATHMANDU to Lhasa, Tibet. On arrival at Gonggar airport, Lhasa you will meet our Tibetan local guide staff who will facilitate the journey from here and will transfer you to a pre-booked hotel at Lhasa. It usually a 2-hour road journey from the airport to the hotel at Lhasa. On arrival at the hotel enjoy the rest of the day at the hotel to get used to the new altitude as we are climbing up and Lhasa is at a height of 3650 mtrs almost twice as Kathmandu's altitude.

Day 4: Local sightseeing, Lhasa
After breakfast at the hotel, we will leave for a city tour at Lhasa and following landmarks will be covered
a) Jokhang temple- a very prominent Buddhist monastery and a world heritage site by UNESCO.
b) Barkhor street-is in touching distance and adjacent to Jokhang temple.
c) Potala palace-Named after mount Potalaka, the mystical abode of lord Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, Dalai Lama used to stay here

Day 5: Drive from Lhasa – Shigatse (3875m) 272 kms drive, 7-8 hrs via Gyantse route
Post the sumptuous breakfast in your hotel we leave for Shigatse which is also a 2nd largest city in Tibet, this road drive will enthrall you with natural landscapes and beautiful boulevards along the way, later you will be guided and taken for a local flea market tour. During our journey, we will also pay a visit to Kumbum Stupa-Gyantse and drive further to reach out hotel at Shigatse for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Shigatse to Sage -4644 mtrs- around 390 kms and 8-9 hrs road trip
After an early breakfast at the hotel in Shigatse, we will leave to pay a visit to Tashilumpo monastery and drive towards Saga, packed lunch will be served by our representative in route to the journey
We will stay overnight at a hotel/guesthouse at Shigatse

Day 7: Saga to lake Mansarover -4598 meters, around 490 kms, and 8 hrs drive.
A significant day on this tour for the quest of spirituality and awakening the inner consciousness
Lake Mansarovar –a lake of consciousness, personification of purity and serenity , sacred like drops of water from the heaven , only freshwater lake at this altitude 4590 metres - 15000 ft and everything else is salty around Tibetan plateau - believed to be creation of lord BRAMHA- The creator of mankind, relatively round in shape around 88 kms in diameter and around 300 ft deep and situated at southeast of Mt. Kailash region in Tibet, China .
Exceptionally beautiful Lake Manas is an epitome of natural best landscape – color of lake manas is crystal clear like blue around shores & emerald green at the centre. Sun and Moon pays tribute to lake manas like paying visit to this supreme divine place –Sun at day leaves an shimmering affect like Gold when Sun leaves Moon sets in and leaves the calming effect and serenity to lake manas on a full moon night God visits to meditate and immerse themselves in the lake “manas” super pure water. Manas- means “Mind” and “Sarovar” meaning lake is derived from ancient Sanskrit transcripts –A special mention in the holy book of hindus – Shrimad Bhagvat Puran.We will then drive to Hor Que we may need to change our vehicle and travel in local buses operated by Chinese authority. Day 8:– Drive to Yam Dwar around 8 kms and start of parikrama to Derapukh (5056 mtrs)- Around 12 kms/6 hrs trek
We start early today and post light breakfast and we commence our journey to Tarboche. Our group of pilgrims will pass through iconic Yamdwar before the actual trek begins to Mt. Kailash, those of you who don’t wish to do parikrama will return from Yamdwar and will spend 2 nights in Darchen guesthouse
All others will continue to trek on foot, any pilgrim who may want to hire Yak/horse or porter may do so and will have to manage to arrange it themselves from the local authorities with the help of Tibetan guide.
Our necessary luggage and kitchen items will be ferried along on Yaks and Yak men will carry the same. Our guests should not forget to carry and ask for their packed lunch and warm water to drink along the trek before the start of the trek.
Today trek is flat and on even ground however little complicated, we should be able to reach Derapuk within 5-6 hrs. Climate will be colder here and our Tibetan guide will book our stay at the guesthouse here for a night stay, Nights will be colder than you have experienced and below subzero temperatures, we will eat light dinner like (Khichdi, soup) and rest in warm blankets and cozy beds.
Altitude 5056 mtrs Meals: Packed Veg breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Day 9: Terk to Derapukh and then to Zuthulpukh -4790 meters 22 kms trek around 10 hrs via Dolma La Pass – 5630 meters
We will start again early morning before dawn to witness the first ray of Sunlight which shimmers like Gold at early morning on Mt. Kailash. Eat breakfast and prepare yourself mentally and physically to ascend trek towards Zuthulpukh
One of the toughest days of the entire trip as the trek becomes steeper and climbing up to Dolma-La –Pass -5630 meters for about 3-4 hrs and then a steep descent to Gauri Kund
Total trek around 9-10 hrs it is the toughest and the longest trek
Pilgrims should remember to carry and ask for their packed lunches, drinking water and carry them along the trek , also those who have hired yaks/porters will also have to trek when coming down after Dolma La pass
We will stay and spend night at guesthouse/dormitory at Zuthulphuk

Day 10: Trek to Darchen -8 kms and drive to Paryang (3-4 hrs trek) – 272 kms with 4-5 hrs drive
Today is our last leg of trekking and we have to do some short treks ranging from 3-4 hrs, we now begin our descend from Darchen. Road transport will be available and our representative will pick us from Darchen and drop us at the guesthouse where we would get to meet our fellow pilgrims’ group members.
Enjoy warm lunch along with fellow pilgrims at the guesthouse and then we would drive to Paryang(Dongba) to complete the parikrama of sacred lake Mansarovar. Post the parikrama we rest at the guesthouse.

Day 11: Paryang/Dongba to Saga via road 4-5 hrs, 260 kms
Once you complete the breakfast at the guesthouse we continue to drive our way towards Saga. We should be able to reach Saga around lunch time, Eat the lunch served and get some rest or you may choose for a local flea market roundup of Saga town.

Day 12: Saga to Shigatse around 390 kms /8-9 hrs driveway
Once we finished breakfast we further drive towards Nyalam.
Night stay will be there at hotel Nyalam or equivalent guesthouse
Altitude 4640-3875 mtrs

Day 13: Shigatse to Lhasa, 275 kms 6-7 hrs
Post healthy breakfast we drive our way back to reach Lhasa which is a 6-7 hrs drive. Don’t forget to enjoy the natural beautiful landscapes in the background and once we reach Lhasa we will comfortably stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 14: Flight from Lhasa to Kathmandu ( 1 .5 hrs )
Post breakfast we will transfer you to board a flight from Lhasa to Kathmandu. One of the most adventurous filled with breathtaking views of Himalayan range is one of the most scenic mountain flights you will ever board so fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the heavenly Himalayan range and snowcapped mountains and clouds flying over them. Once you reach Tribhuvan International airport, KATHMANDU our company representative will pick you and transfer to your hotel for a comfortable night stay.

Day 15- Kathmandu departure
End of 1 breathtaking pilgrimage mission accomplished, you may leave Kathmandu and board a flight way back home.
